Preview – Phoenix Art District

Phoenix, AZ | Canon T2i | 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 | December 24, 2011

On my last photography venture for my weekend in Scottsdale, I ventured out the Phoenix Art District. A friend of mine, Thomas “Brez” Marcus, had a mural that I wanted to check out – images to be posted.

I found plenty of art to document.

Travels – Nisswa, MN & Thunder Hawk His-Abs-Are-Ripped

Nisswa, MN  |  Canon T2i  |  Canon 18-55mm f/3.5

Thunder Hawk His-Abs-Are-Ripped is tale that is unknown to most whom are not from these lands, as Paul Bunyon and Babe the Blue Ox receive a majority of the notoriety. Thunder Hawk’s story has been pushed aside for years.

His-Abs-Are-Ripped would travel the many lakes and rivers on the lands of Mni Sota searching for an indian princess to marry, settle down and procreate. He is an indigenous warrior whose diet is void processed foods – no commods for this man! The evidence is in the abs.

This produced a peculiar predicament for His-Abs-Are-Ripped as everywhere he came ashore, to many camps, the staple of diet was commodity foods. Unfortunately, this canoeing warrior never met his mate.

If you are out and about in Mni Sota, you may come across Thunder Hawk His-Abs-Are-Ripped canoeing his away across a lake or along the river. Even more so, you may be blessed to catch him on the shores of the rivers and lakes, as he is getting in his daily sets of crunches.
