I aspire to create through the inspirations that surround me – from thoughts to visuals. I capture images with cameras, document thoughts with a pen & paper, create visuals with colors and textures, and illustrate my life through the medium of art. I am an indigenous (Yankton Sioux – Ihanktonwan Dakota) contemporary artist. I am David Bernie.

Film Series – Lawn Bowling

San Diego, CA | Nikon FE | Nikon 50mm f/1.4 | Fuji Superia 200

I had passed the San Diego Lawn Bowling Club many times before, yet it was either later in the day or at night. I did not have the pleasure of seeing San Diego lawn bowling in action.

It was a Saturday and I was making my way to Balboa Park. I had my camera with me and several rolls of film. Low and behold there was some serious lawn bowling photos to be had!
