Digital Series - American Indian Heritage School - David Bernie
I aspire to create through the inspirations that surround me – from thoughts to visuals. I capture images with cameras, document thoughts with a pen & paper, create visuals with colors and textures, and illustrate my life through the medium of art. I am an indigenous (Yankton Sioux – Ihanktonwan Dakota) contemporary artist. I am David Bernie.

Digital Series – American Indian Heritage School

Seattle, WA | Fuji x100s | f/2.8 | ISO200

It was a rainy day… and I was with Cheyenne Randall who was showing me around Seattle. He mentioned checking out Andrew Morrison’s mural at American Indian Heritage School. [Check out the artists’ projects and if you like their work please get the word out.]

This is a series of images from the school’s campus. It was a challenge to take the images and to not get my camera wet. Luckily, Cheyenne had a stocking cap which I used to cover the top of the camera.
